Cook sizzling BBQ right on your dinner table. Yeah that's Korean Table BBQ.

This one place is only 5 minutes away from where we live and we go there almost twice a week.
Great quality meets and very resonable price. Those things are what makes me keep coming back.

This restaurant is located right by the beta gate of Osan AB
It's always packed in here during lunch/dinner time.

Spicy squid stir fry

Do you like spicy food?

There are so many different types of  'spicy' taste. Indian, Thai, Chinese, Korean, Mexican and so on...have diffrent 'spicy' tastes. I love all of them. Spicy foods are awesome. They are very helpful for so many ways especially when you are sick or having an hang-over.
I'm about to intruduce to you one of the Korean spicy seafood dish called 오징어볶음 (Oh-jing-uh Bokkum. Oh-jing-uh means squid and Bokkum means stir fry or pan fry) which is cut squid and vegetables mixed with 고추장 (Go-Chu-Jang. Korean red pepper paste. You can easily find this at the Asian store near you)
Also it's very well-known as a typical Korean 안주 (An-ju. Appetizers served with alcoholic beverages ). You can add noodles or serve with the rice as you desire.

2 Squids.
5 Mushrooms
5 Perilla leaves
1/2 Carrot
1 Onion
1/4 Cabbages (Little more than Onion)
1 Green Onions
3 Tsp Vegetable oil
1 Cup Korean red pepper paste (Go-chu-jang)
1 Tsp Soy sause
1 Tsp Minced Galic
1 Tsp Sesami oil
3 Tsp Sesami seeds
2 Tsp Sugar

Prepare the squids - Take out the internal organs. scrub the squid with the sea salt and rinse thoroughly.
Cut the squids to the pieces. Don't cut them too small. Squid shrinks in an half when it cooked.

Prepare the vegetables - Wash them and cut them as squid pieces.

Preheat the pan and put vegetable oil and the squid pieces into the pan.

Cook squids until it turns to white.

Put the vegetables into the pan. make the sause mix and put it on the vegetables.

Sause mix :  1 Cup Korean red pepper paste (Go-chu-jang)

                   1 Tsp Soy sause
                   1 Tsp Minced Galic
                   1 Tsp Sesami oil
                   3 Tsp Sesami seeds
                   2 Tsp Sugar

On high heat, simmer for about 5~7 minutes.
The squid and vegetable pieses will get there water out.

Mix the sause with the squids and vegetables.
Stir until the sause is resolved.

Cook 10 more minutes and put salt&pepper as desired.
Remove from the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Serve with the rice or noodles. Just have it your way!

I put sunny side up fried egg for my husband.
Instead of the egg, we put a piece of American cheese on the rice sometimes .
The cheese melts on the rice just right and it's soooo delicious!!

I love pink & animal prints

I tried to change my layout looks similar as my Korean one. It looks quite corny to me but I'm just lovin' that pink zebra pattern. I still don't know what is going on here but I will get used to it soon...I wish.

Starting my new blog

I'm kinda nervous about this one. It's my very first English version blog. I've been doing Korean blog for couple of years and now I want to try something new. I'm a Korean lady who married to an American guy. As you see my last name, my husband is hispanic. We are living in Korea now and got 1 more year here. I love cooking, eating out, music, art, beauty, fashion, video games and sports. You will enjoy my postings if you are interested in Korean food. I cook all kinds of foods but Korean food is my MAJOR.

**Thanks to everyone who visit my blog but NO THANKS to anyone who complains about my poor English.**
